Does it work on all Windows laptops? expand_more
It works on all Windows 10/11 laptops. If your laptop has a built-in accelerometer it uses that. If not, it automatically falls back to your microphone to detect the slap impact. Either way it works.
Do I need a microphone? expand_more
Only if your laptop has no accelerometer. Most modern laptops have one. If yours doesn't, any built-in or external mic works fine.
Does it work on Mac? expand_more
Yes. The Mac version uses the built-in accelerometer directly. No microphone needed on Mac.
What happens after I buy? expand_more
Right after payment, your license key appears on the success page in the same tab. Download the app, open it, paste the key, done.
Can I use my license on multiple computers? expand_more
Your license works on up to 2 machines. Enough for a reinstall or a second laptop.
What if I lose my license key? expand_more
Go to the Recover Key page, enter your email, and we'll resend it.
What sound modes are available? expand_more
Sexy, Halo, Pain,Evil, Fart, Shuffle, Combo Hit, and Custom. Custom lets you import your own sound files in any format.
Can I add my own sounds? expand_more
Yes. Go to settings, click Add Sounds, pick any wav/mp3/ogg/flac files from your computer. They get added to your active sound pack.
Why isn't my custom upload working? expand_more
After uploading, please click the Save button for the custom sound to work.
Will it slow down my laptop? expand_more
No. The app runs as a lightweight background process in your system tray and uses almost no resources.
Does it start automatically on boot? expand_more
Yes by default. You can disable this in settings.
I slap my laptop but nothing happens. What do I do? expand_more
First check that the app is running in your system tray. Then go to settings and increase the sensitivity slider(it works best at 67 sensitivity (hehe)). Also try the Test Sound button to confirm audio is working.
